Boerne, Texas Experiencing Rebirth
February 21st, 2008

Just north of San Antonio lies the quiet, little town of Boerne, Texas. Never heard of Boerne?

Boerne boasts incredible landscapes, ideal climate, and a growing economy and business climate. The economy in Boerne is booming and the short drive to San Antonio make it an ideal place to work and live. And Boerne just got busier!

Albany Engineered Composites of Boerne announced that it will double the size of its current facility and add more than 330 new employees to their staff – more than doubling the current staff! This is a great opportunity for residents of Boerne and as well as surrounding workers to find Texas jobs.

New jobs will be created for engineers, executives, and production workers at the expanded facility. Plans are to complete the plant within the next 18 to 24 months and hiring will begin as soon as feasible. Hiring will continue over the next few years after expansion is complete.

The city is also employing and searching for a large number of healthcare workers as a result of its recent opening of an emergency medical facility, the expansion of Stanbio Laboratories, and the upcoming expansion of Mission Pharmacal. These additions and expansions create new jobs that will put this small, quiet town on the road to even more rapid growth and more jobs in Texas. Healthcare workers are in high demand in Boerne and throughout Texas.

Boerne may be less of a household name than San Antonio, Houston, or Austin, but this city is making its name known in the big state of Texas with new businesses and expanded industries today. Having the benefit of a town located in an incredibly beautiful part of Texas with rolling landscapes, clean air, and ideal year-round climate makes Boerne a great place to live and work.

Boerne is not just on the map – they’re on the map in a big way now!
